Description

Gemmotherapy is a form of phytotherapy that uses extracts made from the buds, young shoots, and young rootlets of the plant. These embryonic tissue extracts contain a concentration of a plant’s vital energy, offering more active pharmacological activity and precise therapeutic effects. This course is taught by Dr. Robin DiPasquale, a naturopathic physician, homeopath, and registered herbalist who has been teaching gemmotherapy for many years.

In this course, Dr. DiPasquale will cover all you need to know about gemmotherapy whether you are new to this subject or familiar but want more information. She overviews the basics of gemmotherapy, it’s history and application, and then spends the majority of her lessons detailing over 50 different gemmotherapy remedies and their use. For each gemmotherapy remedy, she covers:

  • Keynotes
  • Systems for drainage
  • Phytochemistry
  • Clinical applications
  • Oligo elements (minerals)
  • Other remedies to consider with in combination
  • Safety concerns/contraindications
  • Energetics
  • Case studies

She ends the course with common combinations of gemmotherapy complexes she has found useful in her own practice of over 30 years. This course is packed full of clinically relevant information and many, many pages of detailed notes that you can print out and refer to when you need. If you want to gain a deep understanding of gemmotherapy so that you can start to use this healing modality in your practice, you’ll want to take this course!

Instructor

Robin DiPasquale, ND, RH (AHG), is a doctor of naturopathic medicine and has been practicing in the healing arts for over 30 years.

Dr. DiPasquale served as faculty at Bastyr University for 15 years where she was chair of the botanical medicine department and clinical faculty. She then moved to Madison, Wisconsin and opened a family practice, Red Lotus Healing Arts, as well as working in patient care through the University of Wisconsin Integrative Medicine Clinic. Red Lotus Healing Arts relocated to Fort Collins, Colorado in 2016.

Connecting with the plants and sharing their healing and wisdom is Robin’s passion. She was introduced to Gemmotherapy, the extracts of the embryonic tissue of plants, early in her career. Her study, research, and practice with these amazing remedies led her to writing and teaching about them, and has organized study abroad groups in Italy to study plant medicine and Gemmotherapy for many years.

Dr. DiPasquale’s eclectic healing tools include homeopathy, biotherapeutic drainage, herbal medicine, gemmotherapy, oligotherapy, aromatherapy, cranial sacral and visceral manipulation. She has also been studying and facilitating Family Constellation Therapy for the past seven years. She feels this is one of the deepest healing modalities, and works with individuals and groups both virtually on zoom and in person.
