The Nutritional Physical

The Nutritional Physical

What You'll Learn

  • What to look for on a physical exam
  • How to recognize vitamin deficiencies from a physical exam
  • Natural treatments for vitamin deficiencies

In the words of Dr. Russell Marz, “In doing the nutritional physical, the master clinician can make a diagnosis and devise a treatment plan before even seeing the patient’s family history or lab values.” The body is a map and offers clues as to what nutrients and vitamins are lacking. In this course, Dr. Marz systematically reviews each and every body part, from head to toe, and teaches you how to hone in on these clues so you will be able to recognize and treat any underlying nutrient deficiency with ease.

Dr. Marz has written “Medical Nutrition from Marz” and is an expert in the knowledge and interactions of vitamins, macro, and micronutrients critical for health. Not only does he cover exactly which nutrients and vitamins are lacking in every physical abnormality, but he offers naturopathic solutions in terms of nutrition, supplements, and herbal therapies. This course provides invaluable information for the busy clinician who wants to be able to quickly recognize the root cause of their patient’s problems – all with a good physical examination!
